Oiso Menu Malaysia Mouthwatering Picks, Prices & Secret Favourites

Imagine entering a lively Korean marketplace, the air filled with the tempting scent of spicy-sweet tteokbokki. Each bite delivers a harmonious blend of chewy consistency and a bold kick, transporting you straight to Seoul’s animated streets.

If you’re seeking authentic Korean favorites such as tteokbokki, bibimbap, kimchi jjigae, and beef short rib soup, alongside invigorating drinks like strawberry ade, I’m excited to introduce you to Oiso—a restaurant renowned for presenting true Korean flavors in Malaysia.

Oiso is a Korean restaurant known for its high-quality meals and authentic flavors. It began in Malaysia in 2009, starting modestly in the Mid Valley Food Court before expanding nationwide.

By its seventh anniversary, Oiso had become a chain with multiple outlets across Malaysia. Founded by Korean food enthusiasts, Oiso focuses on preserving authentic flavors. The chefs train in Korea and follow traditional recipes and techniques to ensure authenticity.

Oiso has opened its sixth outlet at Berjaya Times Square. It is positioning itself as a halal-certified destination for authentic Korean cuisine. The entire menu is halal. Traditional dishes use chicken instead of pork to suit dietary preferences while keeping true Korean flavors.

For your convenience, I have shared their complete menu so you can explore prices. I have also shared real customer reviews to give you an idea of the spots and their quality. I found the tteokbokki to have a perfect balance of spice and sweetness, with a chewy, satisfying texture.

Many reviewers call the bibimbap a must-try, praising its fresh ingredients and blend of flavors. Customers often mention the staff’s warmth and friendliness, making each visit pleasant. Let’s see what the menu offers.

Customer Reviews about Osio menu Malaysia

Yong

Genuinely some of the best Muslim-friendly Korean food I’ve had. I usually lean towards non-halal options, but the quality here is on par. The kimchi jjigae is highly recommended.
It’s a favourite work-lunch spot for my friend and me, though it does get very crowded during lunchtime. Entry is only allowed once everyone in your group has arrived, so keep that in mind. Other times, such as dinner or weekends, are generally fine.
The staff are also very friendly. A tip box could be a nice addition for customers who want to show appreciation for the good service.

Located in KL Eco City, Oiso serves comforting Korean fare that is both satisfying and familiar. I ordered the soft tofu stew (soondubu jjigae), which was brought to the table still bubbling in a hot stone bowl.
The deep red broth was rich and warming, packed with silky tofu, vegetables, and a well-judged level of spice, delivering the kind of depth you expect from a carefully prepared stew.
My girlfriend opted for the Kimchi Tuna Rice, attractively presented with a fried egg on top, its yolk still runny and bright. The tuna and kimchi were stir-fried into a bold, spicy blend that complemented the plain rice nicely, striking a balance between savory and tangy flavours.
True to a proper Korean meal, the banchan added an extra layer to the experience – crisp kimchi, pickled vegetables, macaroni salad, and seaweed soup, all small but welcome additions that completed the meal.
Service was efficient, and the portions were filling, making Oiso a solid choice for authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. It may not be a fine-dining destination, but it feels like a warm, reliable home-style kitchen and at times, that is exactly what you’re looking for.
