My Review About Johnny’s Restaurant Malaysia
Johnny’s Restaurant in Penang serves good Thai steamboat and soup dishes, and its Queensbay Mall outlet is the better of the two I visited, earning 4.1 out of 5. I have eaten at Johnny’s many times over the past few years, and I recently revisited the Penang outlets to compare them.
Queensbay Mall outlet (4.1/5): Service was smooth on my latest visit. I ordered my usual favorites: the Seaweed Roll, Golden Mushroom Fried Rice and Pineapple Juice. It was a bit better than the other Penang outlet.
Carnival Mall outlet: Slower in my experience. On one visit, I waited 45 to 50 minutes for a single dish. That doesn’t happen every time, but both outlets still have room to improve.
