A Decade-Long Favorite Near Jalan Ampang: I’ve been coming to Victoria Station Steakhouse for close to ten years, drawn back every time by their melt-in-your-mouth steak. My most recent visit happened almost by chance: after a New Year’s hike along the Desa Petaling Trail in KL, I was heading home via Jalan Ampang and took it as the perfect excuse to stop in again.
What We Ordered: Dinner was a mix of old favorites:

Every dish arrived exactly as I remembered it — rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
Service During Peak Hours: The restaurant was packed the night I visited, with a steady rush of diners keeping the kitchen and floor staff busy. Even so, our order came out quickly, and the staff stayed attentive throughout the meal. Consistent service on a busy night is usually a good sign of how a restaurant is run.
